A building described as a "time warp" has gone on the market - complete with a two-bedroom flat - for just £18,000.

The former Tape Recorder Centre in Blackpool, which opened in 1959, has been put up for sale by agents Pattinson Auctions and Kenricks. Images published with the listing show the retro interior complete with old-fashioned clocks on the wall and vintage flooring.

The property includes a two-bedroom flat above the shop in Waterloo Road. Although it needs "extensive refurbishment throughout" it could be converted into a modern shopfront with spacious apartment.

Original fireplaces and wood panelled walls can be seen in the images along with strip lighting on the ceilings. In one eerie photo a single rocking chair can be seen placed in the centre of an otherwise empty room.

The listing states: "Pattinson Auctions, Kenricks are pleased to offer this unique opportunity to purchase this 'time-warp' Empty Retail Unit with 2 Bedroom Flat above for sale.

"This 2 storey mid terraced property is in need of extensive refurbishment throughout and has previously been used as a Tape Recorder shop with owners accommodation above."
