Snow swept across the shoreline of Lake Tahoe on Wednesday, December 29, as record-breaking winter weather continued to impact much of Northern California.
This month has been the snowiest December on record at the UC Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab, based in nearby Soda Springs, California. As of Thursday, 212 inches of snow had fallen there during December.
