A coast-to-coast winter storm brought heavy snow and gusty winds to Minnesota, accumulating more than a foot of snow by Thursday, February 23, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
Chris Kieger said he captured this timelapse between February 21 and February 23 at his home in Forest Lake, northeast of Minneapolis. Kieger said he measured about 16 inches of snow accumulation by Thursday.
