Timelapse Footage Shows Fast-Growing Airport Fire

Timelapse footage from Santiago Peak in Temescal Valley, California, showed the fast-growing Airport Fire, which firefighters said had burned 5,432 acres by Monday evening, September 9.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office issued mandatory evacuation orders and warnings for several communities due to the fire on Monday.

Several road closures were also in place, the sheriff’s office said.
