Timelapse Shows Lake-Effect Snowstorm in Oswego

Timelapse footage captured in Oswego, New York, shows snow build up on Sunday, November 20, as the National Weather Service warned of heavy lake-effect snow.

Michael Pagnanelli, a meteorology student at SUNY Oswego, took the video showing snowfall causing whiteout conditions over a period of about four hours.

The weather service also said winds could reach 45 mph as the storm reduced visibility in the area, warning motorists of “nearly impossible” driving conditions. Credit: Michael Pagnanelli via Storyful
