Cap clouds spilled across the Sandia Mountains, near Albuquerque, New Mexico, on June 21, as the region’s monsoon season impacted local weather.
The arrival of monsoon rains has helped slow large wildfires burning in the state. Several inches have already fallen in many parts of the drought-stricken state, according to the National Weather Service.
