Tina Hobley finds paradise with her family in the Maldives
Actress Tina Hobley took time off in paradise recently when she took her family to the stunning resort of Jumeirah Vittaveli in the Maldives.
The break came as a well-deserved rest following an arduous year in which she has been recovering from her horrific fall in the Channel 4 show The Jump earlier this year.
“To be sitting here in the sunshine seeing the children so happy – I’m in heaven,” said Tina, who was joined by her husband Oliver Wheeler and three children.
“I had read that Charlize Theron had brought her children here and loved it. So that was good enough for me,” added Tina. “My youngest two, Olivia, eight and Orson, six, love the kids’ club. I have to drag them away.”

The award-winning kids club was not all that was on offer during their two-week stay at the resort, which is only a 20 minute boat ride from Male International Airport.
The family, who were staying in the resort’s sprawling two-storey Beach Suite, had direct access to its vast stretches of white sandy beaches and crystal clear acquamarine waters and the chance to spot turtles and reef fish at the home reef which surrounds the island.
She enjoyed a family boat trip
On one unforgettable day the family enjoyed an excursion aboard a private yacht out to the island’s sandbank, where they enjoyed snorkeling, swimming and a scrumptious picnic in splendid isolation.
Tina and her teenaged daughter Bella, 17, also enjoyed yoga every morning and a some indulgent treatments at the Talise Spa’s Over Water Treatment rooms, where they could unwind and in an oasis of tranquility. “It was pure bliss,” said Tina. “Pure paradise.”
