Yahoo News Tina Malone lays into Big Brother's Chanelle in rant
Shameless actress Tina Malone went on a massive rant against Big Brother contestant Chanelle McCleary on last night's (July 26) Bit on the Side.
The actress was a guest panellist on the spin-off show and the subject turned to Chanelle, who had returned to the house that evening.
However, Tina held nothing back as she furiously let rip against Chanelle, telling the show: "I must have parenting wrong, because I brought my daughter up and I was proud of her getting a degree, getting married, having a baby, getting a post grad.
"I think Chanelle's parents have done it a different way because she seems to brag about how many STIs, how many men she's slept with, how she can put a condom on, how loud she can be… so am I doing parenting wrong?
She added: "I think she's a disgrace! An absolute disgrace."
Host Rylan Clark-Neal, clearly shocked along with the audience, then noted that Chanelle takes care of her grandfather. A slightly taken-back Tina added: "Her nan was lovely by the way.
"But how can you say they are proud of them? What are you proud of? How many d***s she's had? I mean what are you proud of?"
Tina then said: "I make a living out of playing characters like that, I don't – thank god – go home to be with one."
Chanelle has since commented on the remarks in a series of now deleted tweets, writing: "Stupid narrow-minded women, needs to grow up, yawnnnnn, coming from someone who's had full body surgery commenting on me @TinaMalone23.
"Nahhhhhh whys it all the Middle aged past their sell by dates that are slating you girls. Embarrassing get to bed Granny."
"I'm sorry but the level some of these 'women' scoop to is just disgusting, grow the f**k up, would you like ur daughters treating the same?
"I dedicate so much of my life to my grandad and grandma, to be mocked & put down is disgusting, I give so much time & love, horrible people. I love my life, my family, my friends, my partner, my whole worlddddd #sograteful #love #myalllllll".
