Larne chairman Gareth Clements can barely believe the club's European success. The Inver Park side will compete in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League this season.

They became the first Irish League club to ever reach the group stages of a European competition. History-makers once again.

Larne won their first-ever Premiership title in 2023, and repeated the achievement last term with back-to-back Gibson Cup successes.

And now they are preparing to face Gent, Molde, Olimpija Ljubljana, Shamrock Rovers, St Gallen and Dinamo Minsk. And with it pocket some lucrative European prize money.

Since Kenny Bruce's arrival and investment, the Inver Park Reds have scaled the heights.

And playing in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League is the latest Everest moment for manager Tiernan Lynch and his players.

Chairman Clements is still coming to terms with the success, and shared another stunning reminder of the club's rise on his social media on Tuesday. It was a TNT Sports promotional poster declaring the television channel as 'The home of European football'.

The graphic shows players including Erling Haaland, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bukayo Saka, Harry Kane, Bruno Fernandes and Jude Bellingham.

And sitting to the left of the poster, none other than Larne striker Andy Ryan.
