Yahoo News Toadie fears that Sonya has relapsed
Toadie rushes to the hospital after hearing about Hugo's fall. Sonya feels terrible about it and Toadie questions if she took her eye off the ball. Although he's treading carefully, Sonya is wracked with guilt and takes off, upset.
The next day, Sindi tells Toadie that Sonya has gone missing and Toadie worries she's had a relapse. However, Sonya has been at an AA meeting with Terese and comes away with a renewed determination to accept Hugo, no matter how hard it will be.
Meanwhile, Piper finds herself over-sharing about Tyler again on her first date with Cassius. When Cassius later tells Xanthe that Piper isn't interested in him, Xanthe finds herself wondering if her own crush on Cassius may have a chance. But when Xanthe sees Cassius underlining a book, she's shocked to realise Cassius is Piper's mysterious underliner.
Elsewhere, Sheila is surprised when Xanthe changes her focus from nursing to medicine and speaks with Karl about it. Karl stresses the rigours of the course and his advice for Xanthe to consider the change carefully. Sheila takes this onboard and has the best of intentions when she tries to temper Xanthe's ambitions, but her intervention causes an upset.
