There wasn't much in the match between Dons and Accrington as Mike Williamson tried to implement his style of football in his first game in charge of the side from MK1 (Photo: Lewis Storey)
Shaun Whalley scored the only goal of the game in an encounter with precious few chances. While Mo Eisa had a couple of sights in the first-half which he should have done better with, neither side were really able to carve out much in front of goal, with Whalley's 31st minute strike ultimately being the difference.
The result sees Dons drop to 18th in League Two, now nine without a win in the division.
Here’s how we rated the players at the Wham Stadium.
Some decent saves in either half to keep Accrington at bay. Played out with his feet a lot more than in the early season so far (Photo: Jane Russell)
Struggled with distribution for most of the game, with poor and misplaced passing summing up his afternoon (Photo: Jane Russell)
Solid return to the side at centre back after serving a ban. Not much chance to add to Dons' precious few attacks though, but he did create a good first-half chance for Dean (Photo: Jane Russell)
Not a lot made it past the New Zealand international again as he kept potent striker Josh Andrews quiet all afternoon (Photo: Liam Ford/AHPIX LTD)
A quiet afternoon for the wing-back, especially in the second-half (Photo: Liam Ford/AHPIX LTD)
Like Tomlinson on the opposite flank, had a decent outing but went quiet in the second-half (Photo: Jane Russell)
Secure enough in the centre of the park, but didn't get to orchestrate as he would have liked as Stanley pressed high (Photo: Jane Russell)
Full of running as ever, but had a fairly muted impact (Photo: Jane Russell)
Saw a lot of the ball just just could not do anything with it. Often gave the ball away and looked off the boil (Photo: Liam Ford/AHPIX LTD)
Covered a lot of ground and dropped deep to pick up the ball but had little joy with it. Came close with a second-half pot-shot which brushed the outside of the net (Photo: Liam Ford/AHPIX LTD)
Had two great chances in the first-half, hitting the bar with one and firing another wide when he should have done better. Limped out in the second-half (Photo: Jane Russell)
Added a new engine to the midfield for the final stages of the game (Photo: Liam Ford/AHPIX LTD)
Didn't add a lot in the front line after replacing Dean (Photo: Jane Russell)
Showed some initial enthusiasm to get on the ball but fizzled out quickly (Photo: Liam Ford/AHPIX LTD)
