Todd Cantwell is still a Rangers motor mouth as 'silly wee boy' angers Hotline clamouring for Scotland change

A return to international action brought yet more disappointment as Scotland's wretched run continued with a last-gasp Nations League defeat to Poland.

Steve Clarke has won once in 13 games and fans are calling for change ahead of a daunting trip to Portugal to face Ronaldo and Co. The apparent lack of lessons learned from the Euros has proven the final straw for some of the Tartan Army, who want to see fresh faces given a chance rather than simply make up the numbers.

Rab Picken, said: "Why does Clarke persist with donkeys like Ralston and Hanley? He is a serial loser who should be sacked," while Alfie Mullen, London, added: "I think it's time Scotland changed managers. One win in 13 games is poor. The only thing is, who would want to take over managing that bunch of diddies?

Paddy Gowans, said: "This Scotland team is embarrassing, I can think of 5 players who struggle to get a game for their clubs. Give the youth a chance, we're getting beaten anyway".

Scott Gowars, Edinburgh is feeling more than frustrated, he said: "Steve Clarke and Grant Hanley have to take the blame for another Hampden defeat. Three shots on goal by Poland and getting beat 3-2 is shocking. In my eyes at least no Rangers player can take the blame once again as Clarke seems to want to save face putting them in the squad and not playing them. I'd rather put players in the squad that want to play rather than the usual suspects pulling out for no real reason".

George Monroe, said: "They played well but again the same problem could not finish a sandwich." Kenny Goff, furiously emailed: "Between HANLEY and that other headcase PORTEOUS , they have cost us points every game and should be dropped immediately".

Away from Scotland and Todd Cantwell may have left Rangers but he's still causing consternation in Govan. Dr Robert Pender emailed: "I see motor mouth is at it again. He will never be bigger than Rangers or any other club, managers and coaches. He has just put the last nail in his coffin for future moves. No club will put faith in him. Silly wee boy."

Davy Cook, Edinburgh, wants some of what he reckons Record Sport columnist Tam McManus has been smoking. He said: "Think wee Tam McManus has been smoking the green stuff. After reading his article about Hibs being top dogs in Edinburgh soon , remember Xmas is around the corner Tam when Hibs always fall apart again and again."
