Yahoo News Toddler dies from head injuries nine days after his father was killed in four car crash
A two-year-old boy who was left fighting for his life after a four-car crash that killed his father has died in hospital.
Joshua Hoyle was critically injured when a car driven by his dad, Andy Hoyle, 36, was involved in a crash on the A267 in East Sussex.
Mr Hoyle was pronounced dead at the scene on 18 August and his young son was rushed to King's College Hospital in London by helicopter, but died nine days later last on 27 August.
The collision on the busy A-road just after 11am was between a Ford Fiesta, a white Renault Master, a silver Toyota Estima and a silver Honda that allegedly did not stop after the crash.
A 76-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, has since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and for failing to stop after a road accident.

Trudie Hoyle, who is Joshua's mother and lived in Dartford, Kent, with her husband and son described the tragedy as "absolutely devastating."
She said: "Joshua was our loving and energetic boy and the centre of both mine and Andy's world. To have lost both of them in this way is absolutely devastating.
"As a family we will never stop loving and missing them, and would ask to be allowed to grieve privately while we come to terms with this tragedy."
The arrested man has been released under investigation while enquiries continue, police said.
Detectives probing the crash are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and want to hear from anyone who may have captured any dash cam footage from the area around the time of the accident.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police investigating the collision, which occurred shortly after 11am, continue to appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
"They would particularly like to hear from anyone who may have captured any dash cam footage from the area around that time."
