An Ottawa toddler who was told to hold knives pointing down for safety reasons has taken the advice very seriously, video of him emptying the dishwasher shows.

Melinda Sutherland recorded the cute moment when her three-year-old son Levi was helping her out in the kitchen. The little boy can been seen very, very carefully putting the knife back in its drawer.

Sutherland told Storyful: “We have always taught him how to handle them safely, since kids always grab anything anyway, and he loves to help. He took the advice very literally and always helps unload the dishwasher like this now.” Credit: Melinda Sutherland via Storyful
