Toddler dies after shooting himself in the head with father's 'unsecured' gun
A two-year-old boy died after shooting himself in the head with a gun he found in his home.
Christopher Williams Junior died shooting himself with his father’s 9mm handgun that is believed to have been left unsecured at the family home in Houston.
According to reports, Texas police said the youngster’s parents were home at the time of the shooting on Sunday.

In a news conference the Houston Police Department (HPD) urged parents who own guns to be careful.
Special Victims Captain David Angelo said: “You need to secure the weapons, whether it’s a trigger guard or some sort of safe to keep the weapons secured so nothing like this happens in the future.”

The shooting comes after another man was charged in connection with the accidental shooting of his two-year-old son in May.
Ali Parvez Masoom, 32, appeared in court charged with making a firearm accessible to a child.
According to reports, the semi-automatic handgun was left on a kitchen table where the toddler found it, accidentally shooting himself in the face.
