NFL great and Birmingham City minority shareholder Tom Brady has partaken in the light-hearted exchanges between representatives of Blues and Wrexham ahead of the highly anticipated League One meeting at St Andrew's on Monday night (KO 8pm).

Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl winner, is jetting in to attend the game, which will also be watched by Wrexham owners and Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. They teed up a long-time NFL rival of Brady's, Eli Manning, to pose in a Wrexham shirt in the lead up to the fixture.

Now Brady has waded into the conversation on social media, in which he replied to Manning - who had posted in his shirt: "Now I can beat @TomBrady in football and fútbol! Go @Wrexham_AFC!" - who had already been the target of Blues themselves!

"I've been working on a little response video for Eli. I've been looking around the house, but I can't find the other six of these," Brady said, via a clip, as he held a Super Bowl. "Rob, can you just educate the Wrexham fans just a little bit on the history of the NFL? Thanks bud, I'll see you Monday!"

Eli is the brother of Peyton, who was at the heart of one of the greatest NFL rivalries, against Brady; the quarterback pair faced off against one another between 2001 and 2015, facing each other 17 times with Brady coming out on top on 11 occasions. The duo are considered to be among the best NFL players of all time, having won eight MVPs and nine Super Bowls between them.
