Tom Clare stole Olivia from Will on 'Love Island.'

The 23-year-old semi-professional footballer arrived in the South African villa as a Bombshell addition to the hit ITV2 reality dating show on Monday's (17.01.23) episode and the following day was seen being given the power to steal a girl from someone else, finally choosing to couple up with ring girl Olivia Hawkins, 27, leaving farmer Will Young, 23, single and in danger of eviction.

Speaking to his fellow Islanders around the campfire, Tom said: "It's been a very tough decision for me and what’s made it so hard is that all the girls have such different personalities and I find them all attractive. It’s been a very tough decision. But I’ve decided to couple up with this girl because I definitely think she’ll keep me on my toes, I think she’s absolutely stunning and I know it’s only early days but I do genuinely think there’s probably something there with this girl. The girl I’d like to couple up with is Olivia."

Earlier in the episode, Tom had been seen talking to hair stylist Tanyel Revan, 26, - who is currently coupled up with 24-year-old PE teacher Kai Fagan - about how everyone had been managing since entering the villa and she insisted that everyone was "getting to know each other."

He asked: "How are you guys in your couples?"

She replied: "Everyone is still getting to know each other."

Tom then nodded in agreement as Tanya then asked: “How tall are you?” to which he replied: “6’5, I like to be the little spoon though!"

'Love Island' airs at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. The dating reality show can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
