Serial wedding crasher Tom Hanks has struck again, this time photobombing a bride and her bridesmaids as they posed for snaps in Pittsburgh.

The 65-year-old Oscar-winning actor, who is currently in town shooting a movie adaptation of A Man Called Ove, reportedly couldn’t resist getting involved when he spotted the bridal party and asked bride, Grace Gwaltney, if he and his actress wife Rita Wilson, also 65, could jump in with them.

“When it first happened we were all confused and it didn’t click for a second. Most of us stared quietly for a second. Then we all erupted in screams,” the photographer, Rachel Rowland, told Newsweek.

“You always have all of these plans and ideas for when you meet a celebrity and then when you do – especially national treasure Tom Hanks – you really become mush.

“He was exactly as you would assume him to be: joyful, funny, loud and kind,” Rowland added to the publication.

Meanwhile, Gwaltney described it all to WTAE-TV Pittsburg as “crazy”, adding that she “immediately froze” and didn’t know what to do when he introduced himself.

This is the third time that Hanks has asked to be part of people’s big day’s.

Back in 2016, the Big star shared a photo on Twitter he had taken with a bride and groom whose wedding he crashed in New York’s Central Park.

He then went on to pose with two brides for their beach nuptials in Santa Monica in 2021.

The in-demand star will next be seen in Elvis Presley biopic, Elvis, which is due for release on June 24.

He will then take on the role of woodcarver Geppetto in Disney’s live-action version of Pinocchio out in September.
