Tom Hardy is one of everyone's favourite actors, that's just a fact. But he's also got the reputation of being a bit of an oddball at times (case in point: the entirety of Venom and his attempts at accents in things like Mad Max: Fury Road and Peaky Blinders), something Shia LeBeouf can attest to.

As part of a roundtable discussion with Adam Driver, Robert De Niro, Jamie Foxx, Tom Hanks and Adam Sandler for The Hollywood Reporter, LeBeouf was asked what intimated him the most during his career.

"Probably Tom Hardy [on Lawless]," he said. "Hardy is a bit of a gorilla on a set.

"Well, he runs the set. He’d pee in the corners. It’s his set, you know it when you get there.

"It doesn’t feel like a shared space, it feels like his space. And he’s a very good actor and also super-loving, but on a set, you’re in his church."

We're not sure if Tom Hardy actually peed in the corners, since LeBeouf is using a few metaphors here.

As well as the Venom sequel, there is a second series of Taboo on its way.

However, work doesn't seem have to made much progress and the possibility of it continuing without Hardy has also been discussed.
