Good news! After Tom Hardy gave his fans the best Valentine's Day present ever, it has been confirmed that the actor will be returning to read three more bedtime stories for CBeebies.

The star of Taboo made his debut as a storyteller on New Year's Day, when he kicked off 2017 on a joyful note by reading You Must Bring a Hat by Simon Philip and Kate Hindley.

On February 14, the nation swooned a second time when Hardy read Tom McLaughlin's The Cloudspotter - and yes, he was joined once again by his beloved pet dog Woodstock.

Now the BBC has confirmed to Digital Spy that Hardy has recorded five bedtime stories for the children's TV channel in total. According to a spokesperson, he recorded all five episodes at once, which is standard procedure for CBeebies readers.

The Valentine's Day story was the second from the line-up, but there's no word yet on which books Hardy will be reading or when the next three renditions will be aired.

Judging by the recent reactions from parents - and non-parents - who tuned in to watch Hardy last time, Britain is well and truly ready for Hardy and his big red coat to return.

Bedtime Stories airs on CBeebies every day at 6.50pm.
