Tom Holland might be our favourite Spider-Man (sorry, Tobey Maguire), but that doesn't mean we're a fan of his off-screen penchant for spoilers.

Ahead of Avengers: Endgame's release, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has revealed to Empire just how long details about the film, and its predecessor Infinity War, have been kept under wraps.

Reflecting on Spider-Man's 'death' in Infinity War, Feige revealed that the scenes used in the aftermath of Thanos' snap were "filmed on the first or second day" of the shoot.

That means that Tom managed to keep his character's fate a secret throughout "an almost two-year process" – which, considering his track record, is a miracle.

Of course this latest revelation doesn't explain Tom's most recent slip-up – a spoiler that we didn't even clock until about a year later.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in the UK and US on April 26, 2019.
