Tom Holland is in the dark about Spider-Man spin-offs
Don't bother asking Tom Holland about the Venom spin-off, because he knows about as much as we do.
Sony will be giving Spider-Man's arch-nemesis Venom his own movie, which will start filming in autumn 2017, with the studio also working on a female-led spin-off with Black Cat and Silver Sable.
That set everyone's Spidey senses tingling as to whether we'd see Holland pop up as Spider-Man in either movie, under Sony's deal with Marvel about the character.
"I have no idea. I haven't read a script," he told Variety. "I haven't seen any sort of concept art, so that would be something I would decide on when I see material."
And it's not like he's just hiding the truth from us as he believes he's not that good at keeping secrets, recalling a recent time when he accidentally took home the script for Avengers: Infinity War.
"Apparently there's a big old panic at the studio, because no-one could find my script and was worried that it would get out," he explained.
"So I put a video on Instagram burning them in my dad's wood burner just to prove they weren't going anywhere."
Holland also teased that Spider-Man: Homecoming definitely focuses on a "younger superhero" ahead of the new trailer for his MCU solo outing coming today (March 28).
Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into cinemas on July 7.
