It is a known fact that Spider-Man actor Tom Holland is terrible at keeping secrets – Marvel have to consciously keep him in the dark about their movies so he can't spoil them for everyone – but now it seems he's graduated to teasing his fans.

After it emerged that Holland spoiled the ending of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom for Chris Pratt, the director JA Bayona took to Twitter to give the young actor a virtual slap on the wrist.

"That was supposed to be a secret, @TomHolland1996!! You're a weasel!!" he wrote.

"I just got so excited. This is exactly why marvel won't tell me the plots anymore," Holland replied.

But then Bayona made the mistake of dragging Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 into the conversation.

"Don't worry, man. I'm not telling anyone anything about Spider-Man 2..." he said.

Holland's reply wasn't just a spoiler for anyone who, for some reason, hasn't yet seen Avengers: Infinity War, it was also a massive gut punch to those who are still coming to terms with film's shock ending.

"What do you mean Spiderman 2? Didn't you see avengers? #idontwannago," Tweeted Holland.

While we know he's joking – because Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 is definitely coming and the web-slinger is going to be one of the leading figures in phase four of the MCU – it still hit some fans hard.

Avengers 4 and Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 are set to hit cinemas in April and July of 2019.
