Tom Holland stars in first-look trailer at new crime thriller series
The first trailer for Tom Holland's new Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room has arrived.
The 10-part crime drama follows Holland's character Danny Sullivan, a man arrested for his involvement in a New York City shooting in 1979.
The story will be told via a series of interrogations led by Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), who tries to figure out what happened that fateful night and what drove Danny to commit his crimes.

In the new footage, we watch as things get complicated for Rya when it’s revealed that Danny has some "blank spots" about the shooting and his past.
She then discovers that Danny may have more victims as several people "close to him" have disappeared, before the trailer cuts to a shot of a young Danny travelling in a car with his mother (Emmy Rossum).
The Crowded Room is created by Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind), and also stars Sasha Lane (Loki), Will Chase (Dopesick), Lior Raz (Fauda), Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter) and Christopher Abbott (First Man).

Holland's character is loosely based on Billy Milligan, who was arrested for rape, aggravated robbery and kidnapping in 1979.
Speaking toEntertainment Weekly about the role, Holland admitted that he found it difficult to detach himself from the character after nine months of shooting.
"I was seeing myself in him, but in my personal life," he said. "I remember having a bit of a meltdown at home and thinking, like, 'I’m going to shave my head. I need to shave my head because I need to get rid of this character.'
"And, obviously, we were mid-shooting, so I decided not to… It was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before."
The Crowded Room premieres on Apple TV+ on June 9.
