The Wanted’s Tom Parker has slammed petrol panic buyers, called them “selfish”.

The singer is battling a brain tumour and said he needs to be able to get to hospital to get his medication.

He urged those creating long queues and stocking up on petrol to “think about others before yourselves”.

Parker, 33, shared his thoughts on his Instagram Story, in posts which have now expired.

According to the Daily Mail, he said: “To all you selfish a*******s out there that are stealing all the f****** petrol.

“I’ve got an actual appointment to get to for my medication, so can we just think about others before ourselves.”

Parker revealed last year that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour while his wife Kelsey was expecting their second baby.

The star has been going through treatment and last month he revealed that he had reason to celebrate after a scan on his 33rd birthday showed a “slight reduction” in the tumour.

"The last couple of days have been filled with dread and worry but I’m pleased to announce that the results of yesterday’s scan (lovely birthday present), are stable with a slight reduction in the tumour if anything," he wrote on Instagram.
