Tom Parker said wife Kelsey was the “best thing” to ever happen to him as they celebrated their wedding anniversary amid the star’s cancer battle.

The Wanted singer – who revealed last year that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour – posted a picture of the couple’s big day on Instagram as they marked three years of marriage.

The sweet snap showed Tom, 32, and Kelsey, 31, on the dancefloor as their guests looked on.

“3 years married to you!” wrote the singer, who has two young children with his wife.

“When I tell you I love you my girl, I’m not just saying it. I say it to remind you that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me.

“Thank you for not only the last 3 years of marriage but just for being the wonderful human being you are.”

Kelsey also shared a picture from their nuptials, saying she had married her best friend.

The couple were inundated with happy anniversary messages from fans and friends including Tom’s bandmate Max George.

“From that night when we lived at the Marriott… there was only ever one ending… happy anniversary guys. Love you all loads,” the singer-songwriter posted on Instagram.

Tom shared in October 2020 that he had been diagnosed with “inoperable” stage-four glioblastoma while his wife was pregnant with their second child.
