The kitchens of Michelin star-holder Jason Atherton will be invaded by top chefs next month who will cook Sunday lunches in aid of charity.

The fourth Social Sunday on July 1, organised by Atherton and hosted at his restaurants, will raise cash for Hospitality Action, which supports workers in the hospitality sector. The past three events made £100,000 for the charity.

At Pollen Street Social, his Mayfair flagship, Atherton will cook with Tom Aikens of Tom’s Kitchen (Chelsea and Canary Wharf) and Tom Sellers of Restaurant Story (Bermondsey). At bistro Little Social (Mayfair) Clare Smyth, chef patron of newly opened Core in Notting Hill, will join the team.

Paul Hood, chef patron of Social Eating House in Soho, will cook with Paul Ainsworth from No 6 in Padstow, Cornwall. In Moorgate, Angler’s executive chef Gary Foulkes is teaming up with City Social’s Paul Walsh for a banquet.

Executive chef of Marylebone’s Social Wine & Tapas, Marcus Rohlen, will cook with Martin Morales, founder of Peruvian restaurant Ceviche. And in Farringdon, Sosharu’s chef patron Alex Craciun will cook with six chefs.

Tickets range from £90 to £180.
