Originally reported back in June, the co-presenter can be seen uncontrollably heading towards some grass in a £250k red Lamborghini Diablo – the screen cuts to black along with the sound of impact.
Safely out of the car, Paddy jokes: "I'm just gonna go and give myself a quick wet wipe... I hope they've been in the fridge!" as his colleague Freddie Flintoff looks into the distance shaking his head.
At the time of his on-set accident, Paddy told his Instagram followers: "It's been a mad old day on Top Gear today, you might have seen that I had a bit of a shunt.
"I finally got to drive one of my fantasy childhood cars, the Lamborghini Diablo, but it turns out 30-year-old supercars don't like torrential rain. Who'd have thought?
"If you've ever owned a Diablo or you've driven one, you'll know just as well as me: oh my God, she can be a cruel mistress, she can be a cruel mistress, that one," he continued.
"That V12 lures you in and suddenly, 'rawr', it bites you. I'm totally fine. Fingers crossed, we get the car running again because it is an absolute beauty."
Elsewhere, the Take Me Out favourite recently posted a video of himself winding up co-presenter Chris Harris at work, pressing record on his phone while Chris thought he was taking a selfie of them.
Top Gear returns soon on BBC One.
