Top gear: Student accidentally parks her Mercedes on TOP of another car

A student accidentally parked her car on top of another vehicle on a residential street.

It is believed she pressed her foot on the accelerator instead of the brake, causing her to reverse her silver Mercedes over a dark blue Saab behind her.

The driver, a third year student, was attempting a parking manoeuvre between two cars on the road in Falmouth, Cornwall, at about 11.20pm on Saturday night.

Her car reversed over the bonnet of the car behind and its back wheels ended up on the front windscreen.

Although perched on top of another car, the driver managed to clamber out of her vehicle, while the owner of the Saab came out of their home after hearing the noise.
