Tori Kelly 'feeling really good' after hospitalisation

Tori Kelly has confirmed that she is "feeling really good" after her recent health scare.

The singer-songwriter has opened up about her recent health emergency which resulted in her being rushed to hospital in a "really serious" condition.

"I'm feeling good. I'm actually feeling really good. Totally caught me off guard. It was a scary few days, but I'm so happy that I had, like, a really good support system around me," Tori, 30, told Billboard in a new interview.

In late July, Tori was rushed to hospital after she collapsed. It was later revealed that she had collapsed as a result of blood clots.

The Paper Hearts singer added, "I was mind blown by just all the love and support that I got during that time."

The interviewer, Rania Aniftos, then pointed out that Tori was welcomed home from the hospital by an extravagant gift from Beyoncé.

"Beyoncé, yeah, I got a lot of flowers," Tori said. "But when Beyoncé's flowers showed up it was like, 'Oh, yeah, those are obviously from Beyoncé.' They were massive."

Tori then joked that the flowers from the Love On Top hitmaker healed her, stating, "Seriously yeah, I was like, 'I'm good now. I'm good, yeah.'"

Just months after her health scare, Tori embarked on her Take Control U.S. tour.

"It is honestly a dream come true," the musician said of the tour. "I was looking forward to this tour for a while. And then I think now with everything that's happened health wise too, I'm just even more grateful."

Tori added, "And it feels even like more emotional being on stage now, and just not wanting to take a single second for granted."

The 9-date Trek wrapped up In Los Angeles on 26 September.
