Tornado Touches Down in Southern Washington

A tornado touched down in Battle Ground, Washington, on September 27 amid stormy weather in the region.

The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed the tornado, describing it as “weak”.

“Two NWS meteorologists will conduct a storm survey Tuesday morning [and] determine path length, path width [and] the strength of the tornado,” the weather agency said.
