Heavy rainfall caused flooding in parts of Germany on the night of July 13-14, DWD, the country’s meteorological service, said. At least one person was missing after being swept away in a flood, Deutsche Welle reported.
This footage was taken in Hagen, a city in western Germany that was particularly hard-hit. More than 100 liters of rain per square meter fell in the city in the 12 hours from 8 pm on July 13 to 8 am on July 14, DWD said.
