Tortilla restaurant Glasgow Airport opening creates 19 new jobs
A new restaurant has landed at Glasgow Airport – creating 19 jobs. Tortilla, a Mexican eaterie, has officially been launched at the Paisley transport hub with those jetting off able to make good use of the facility.
The 30-seat venue will offer a dine-in option and also a grab-and-go takeaway service.
Craig Norton, head of retail development at AGS Airports, said: “This new venue will further enhance our food and beverage options here at Glasgow Airport with a cuisine we know our customers are looking for during their travels.
“The Tortilla brand has continuously grown year after year and I am sure the colourful and bursting-with-flavour menu items will be a hit with our customers.”
Tortilla’s dishes are all made fresh to order and filled with fresh, quality ingredients such as marinated proteins, hand-smashed guacamole and fresh salsas.
Customers choose what goes in their dish – from burritos, naked burrito bowls, salads and tacos to quesadillas and nachos.
Andy Naylor, CEO at Tortilla, added: “We are excited to be opening our third airport location.
“Glaswegians will already know our brand from our location in the city centre but this will allow everyone to enjoy some of our delicious Mexican food before jetting off to their next destination.”
