Manuel Pellegrini says fatigue will not be an issue for opponents Tottenham this weekend and that he expects Mauricio Pochettino's side to be 100 per cent ready for their London derby.

With nine of Tottenham's first team players in the semi-finals of the World Cup, talk of fatigue has plauged the early weeks of Spurs' season.

While they have made a strong start to the season results wise, performances have not been to their usual standards.

Pellegrini, however, expects their London rivals to be fully fit for their London Stadium clash this weekend.

"I don't think that a Spurs player will be tired, they play Monday [with England] and then now on Saturday.

"Maybe for the cup game, they have played on Monday and then again on Wednesday.

"They are all young players, they will be 100 per cent for this game."

Pochettino will be bolstered by the return of both Christian Eriksen and Mousa Dembele this weekend.
