Tottenham Golden Boot star Harry Kane wins PFA Fans' Player of the Season over Chelsea and Arsenal rivals

Tottenham talisman Harry Kane has been crowned Premier League PFA Fans' Player of the Season.

The striker scored 29 goals in 30 games as Spurs finished in a record-high second place in the league with a record points tally of 86.

Kane beat team-mate Dele Alli, Chelsea pair Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante and Golden Boot rivals Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to the prize which was voted for by fans online.

The 23-year-old claimed the Golden Boot for the second season running, joining a select group of players to achieve back-to-back honours with Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie.

Kane is the youngster player to achieve the feat in consecutive campaigns since World War Two.

On average, Kane scored a goal every 87 minutes, far bettering nearest rivals Lukaku and Sanchez.

The England international scored seven goals in his final two league games to seal the prize.
