New Tottenham kit 2018-19: Spurs unveil new home and away jerseys with a hidden tribute to White Hart Lane

Tottenham have unveiled their new home and away Nike kits for the 2018-19 season, with a touching reference to White Hart Lane hidden within.

Nike says that the home kit's design of a lilywhite and navy blue print shirt, navy blue shorts and blue and white socks pays "subtle reference to the architecture of the new ground".

There are changes elsewhere, with Nike dropping the crest around the team's logo, while the collar has a bolder blue look as opposed to last season's offering.

As for the away strip, Nike have gone for a mix of binary blue and polarised blue fade on the shoulders.

Nike have also gleaned on the notion of 'inner pride' for the kit release, with a reference to Spurs' former home hidden within the home kit.

The home jersey has the club's postcode (N17) and co-ordinates of the centre circle of the club's former stadium, White Hart Lane, imprinted on the inside of the collar.

The away strip, meanwhile, has #COYS as a reference to the supporters who follow the club.
