Ben Davies has been included in Tottenham's starting line-up for this evening's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.

The Welshman did not feature at Wembley but has been recalled to the side along with Kyle Walker as Spurs stick with a 3-4-2-1 formation.

Mauricio Pochettino's side lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals last time out and will be determined to get back to winning ways at Selhurst Park.

The north Londoners are seven points adrift of Antonio Conte's side and need a positive result to keep up the pressure on the division's pacesetters.

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Walker, Dier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Wanyama, Dembele, Eriksen, Dele, Kane.

Tottenham subs: Lopez, Trippier, Wimmer, Sissoko, Nkoudou, Son, Janssen.

Crystal Palace XI: Hennessey, Ward, Kelly, Sakho, Schlupp, Milivojevic, Puncheon, McArthur, Zaha, Townsend, Benteke.

Crystal Palace subs: Speroni, Van Aanholt, Delaney, Cabaye, Sako, Flamini, Campbell.

What they're saying

Mauricio Pochettino: "We need to be strong. We need to be aware of that, they will fight a lot to try to beat us.

"When you are playing for the title, playing to be in the top four, what that game means is so important."

Sam Allardyce: "The players have done a fantastic job but I just hope they don’t come off the gas and think we've done it.

"I hope the game is big enough [against Tottenham] to ensure that they don’t take their foot off the gas.”
