The touching moment a dad give's his son a birthday present will leave you in tears

Get ready for the most emotional video you'll see all day. When budding baseball player Braheim turned 12, he wasn't very happy with dad Devon Fowler – who he thought had forgotten his birthday.

But a few days later Braheim got the surprise of his life when it turned out Devon had remembered, and he got exactly what he wanted.

Devon spoke to BuzzFeed News and explained that, because he's currently in between jobs, money was a bit tight and although he knew his son was desperate for a new bat, he had to keep putting him off.

Devon Fowler gave his son the surprise of his life!

Luckily he filmed the super sweet moment Braheim received his present and posted it on Facebook, where it has since been viewed more than 23million times.

In the clip, Devon tells his son to go to the boot of their car and pull out the box inside. Figuring out what's going on, Braheim looks like he can hardly believe his luck as he excitedly pulls the bat out. Pretty soon his emotions take over and, unsurprisingly, he can't hold back the tears.

Devon tells him: "Don't cry, you're about to make me cry!" As his son goes in for a hug, he adds: "I ain't forgot about you… I love you."

It didn't take long for Braheim to forgive his dad

Braheim had a baseball game that day and, although Devon originally planned to present him with the bat just before the game, his son's sadness swayed him.

He added to BuzzFeed: "I was feeling bad. I don't like to see my son upset. So I gave it to him early."

Social media users have commented on the touching moment in their thousands, with many confessing to being left in tears after watching the video.

When asked about the reaction to the clip, Devon said: "I woke up the next day after posting it and I was getting so many phone calls!"

He might have had to wait for it, but something tells us Braheim was one of the happiest kids on the team that day.
