Tourists Scream as Hawaii Lava Explosion Showers Tour Boat in Molten Rock

At least 22 people were injured when a debris from a lava explosion hit a tour boat off the coast of Kapoho, Hawaii, on Monday, July 16. The debris punctured the roof of the boat, leaving a hole the size of a basketball, a news report said.

This video was recorded by tourist Will Bryan, who reported being hospitalised after the lava struck the boat he was on. Bryan added that the group was “shaken up” and suffered cuts and burns as a result of the incident.
