The feud between The Only Way Is Essex star James 'Lockie' Lock's current girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou and his ex Danielle Armstrong just got a lot nastier.

Much has been made of Danielle dumping both Lockie and TOWIE after learning that he'd been seeing another girl behind her back. There continues to be anger on both sides, with Yazmin and Dani reportedly rowing at London's posh Sheesh eatery.

In the latest issue of OK! Magazine, Yazmin comes to Lockie's defence for his past infidelity by saying Danielle drove the bad boy to cheat and accusing Dani of acting like "a zoo animal in a cage".

"I would have [cheated] too if I was him," she insisted.

However, Yazmin is confident that Lockie will never betray her by fooling around behind her back (like he did in his fraught relationship with Danielle).

"I'm very confident that he wouldn't but he knows that if he ever did I'd be gone," she insisted. "There's no second chances with me."

Lockie chimed in: "I'm a lot more committed to Yaz. Danielle and me kept trying but that was more because of the show.

"Now I'm trying to be the best boyfriend I can be. Our relationship means more to me than the show. A lot of people thought it was me pursuing her, but she's the one who won't leave me alone.'"

Despite the fact that Lockie describes Yazmin as "the most jealous person [he's] ever met", both seem confident that their romance will go the distance.

"We know we're not in it for the short term," Yazmin said. "I see us being together forever."

Judging by the most recent TOWIE episodes, that prediction may have been slightly premature.
