TOWIE celebrates its power couples ahead of the new series

The Only Way Is Essex will soon be back on our screens, with the new series returning on Sunday, March 5 – and get excited, because it's going to be a big one.

To mark the 20th series of the show (yes, really, the 20th), TOWIE is celebrating the thing at the very heart of it's fake-tanned, hair extension heavy heart: power couples.

So get ready to sit on the edge of your sofa wondering if they'll make it through the tough times (spoiler alert: they probably won't) or fall to the wayside like the couples of TOWIE past.

Megan McKenna and on-again, off-again boyfriend Pete Wicks are returning to the show after getting back together in the last season finale, despite being rocked by Pete's sexting scandal.

Meanwhile shoe-mogul Tommy Mallet and his girlfriend Georgia Kousoulou will also be back on our screens.

Also, there will be two new couples for us to now become obsessed over.

Lockie and new girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou will be vying for the title of ultimate TOWIE couple.

Relative newcomer Courtney Green also features in the shoot with new man Myles Barnet.

And of course, it's not a TOWIE couple-off without Gemma Collins and Bobby Norris is it? After all, who has more drama than these two divas?

The Only Way Is Essex is back on ITVBe Sunday March 5 at 10pm.
