TOWIE fans in stitches over careless production blunder

While we'd expect the cast members to bring the LOLs on The Only Way Is Essex, their thunder was stolen on last night's (April 12) episode by an extra who may need to learn how to use a phone.

During an opening montage in the episode, the camera cuts across shots of Essex, filming a few ladies adorned in hats.

That all seems normal, right? Well, it would if the one talking on a phone with the words 'I [heart] Essex' emblazoned on it realised that she was holding her device upside down.

While the phone case maker's way of writing the words may have been a production inconvenience, fans were nevertheless very quick to notice the blunder:

It was certainly a respite from all the drama in the episode, which saw an explosive row between Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks.

On top of that, Chloe Sims got some stick from Megan after becoming Pete's confidante, while Courtney Green tried to win back boyfriend Myles Barnett after he discovered she had texted her ex.

So. Much. Drama. Upside-down-phone-woman's life seems much simpler.
