TOWIE's Chloe Lewis Apologies After Pulling Out Of Charity Bike Ride

TOWIE star Chloe Lewis has been forced to apologise after dropping out of a charity bike ride in India.

The reality star was forced into explaining herself after she was slammed on Twitter by Denise Van Outen, who has been helping to organise the sponsored cycle to raise money for cancer charities following the death of her friend, fitness coach Niki Waterman.

After Chloe complained about a Sun article which claimed that Chloe’s abandonment of the project had lost the team sponsorship money, Denise tweeted that Chloe offered “No apology to our team and no message of support. True story.”

But now Chloe has claimed that the matter was out of her control and that her absence was down to visa issues.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote:

“I want to apologise for any confusion to the charity Brain Tumour Research. I would have loved to have gone to India to do the cycle wit the team but unfortunately, I didn’t get my visa in time,”

‘I have ensured I have paid all costs that I would have incurred going to India. Me and my family support lots of charities and I will be supporting this charity going forward.

“Upsetting how people can print untrue stories about you.”

Chloe had been scheduled to join an 187-mile cycle in Kerala, where the participants will cycle up to 50 miles every day.
