After an awkward start, TOWIE's Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks have used their time on Celebs Go Dating to bury the hatchet. We never thought this day would come either.
In last night's (March 21) final episode, Megan and Pete took some time apart from their new-found love interests to talk through their experience together and make amends once and for all.
With the ups and downs of their relationship now firmly behind them, Pegan – as voiceover Rob Beckett is now dubbing them – shared a sweet moment appreciating their friendship. "I feel like out of this whole thing, what I've gained is a good friend," Pete admitted.

Reflecting on the "random scenario" that is Celebs Go Dating, Pete said: "When we started this process, we hadn't spoken... Now I feel like I can talk to you, and I feel really comfortable talking to you. It's a really nice thing."
Echoing the thoughts of viewers the world over, Megan joked about the miracle of their reconciliation. "I just never thought in a million years, that me and you [would be] in Tenerife on a rooftop bar, actually having a drink and talking nicely," she said.
"I'm so glad I joined the agency at the same time as you. It feels nice."

And to think, the Celebs Go Dating team were so worried about former adversaries Megan and Pete coming face-to-face that they kept the whole thing a secret.
Revealing the lengths the series went to to keep Pete from realising Megan's involvement earlier this year, Vicky Pattison explained: "They kept it a secret from him, you know. He didn't know. He could have dropped out, but it's letting her win, isn't it?"
