Town of Gerolstein Swamped by Flooding as Death Toll in Germany Nears 100

The town of Gerolstein, Germany, was seen largely swamped by floodwater on July 15, as the country’s death toll from flooding reached 93, according to media reports.

Die Welt said more than 1,000 others remained missing in the catastrophic flooding.
