Archenemies Tracy Beaker and Justine Littlewood have reunited in the new trailer for My Mum Tracy Beaker.

Premiering this Friday (February 12) at 5pm on CBBC and BBC iPlayer, the new series is based on author Jacqueline Wilson's 2018 book of the same name, which finds the Dumping Ground's feistiest resident (played, of course, by Dani Harmer) all grown up with a young daughter named Jess.

The series follows Tracy and Jess as they try to scrape by financially, but with a close and loving bond that Tracy missed out on with her own mum.

As you can tell from the trailer, Tracy's life is still peppered with the odd drama, including a burgeoning relationship with superstar footballer Sean Godfrey (Jordan Duvigneau), much to Jess' horror.

With Tracy and Sean's relationship going from strength to strength, the trailer teases that Jess soon uncovers that Sean may or not be hiding a secret of his own.

"He's hiding something from mum," she notes.

But the biggest tease came at the end of the clip, as Tracy and Jess walked into the kitchen to find none other than Justine Littlewood (Montanna Thompson) sitting there waiting for them.

While the trailer didn't tease anything further, actress Harmer offered her Twitter followers a sneak peek of Tracy and Justine's latest encounter, as she shared a clip of what happened next.

"Tracy Beaker..." says Justine, before acknowledging her daughter. "And mini Beaker! Wow, you look just like your mum."

Piqued by this familiar figure, Jess asks: "Are you Justine Littlewood?"

"You've told her about me?" Justine directs back towards Tracy, as the clips flashed back through some old clips of Tracy and Justine's lifelong rivalry.

"Oh yeah," Tracy confirms, prompting Justine to reply: "I deny everything."

We can find out what happens next when My Mum Tracy Beaker begins this Friday (February 12) on CBBC and BBC iPlayer.
