Traffic is moving on the M6 after a day of delays following a serious incident of Friday.

However there are still delays of around 10 minutes for motorists heading north between junctions 26 Standish and 28 Leyland.

All traffic came to a halt on the motorway when a lorry overturned on the north bound carriageway at around 2pm. Seven people were injured when a car, a lorry and a campervan crashed as cargo was spilled across the motorway. It is not thought any of the injuries were serious.
