Southampton drivers are being urged to plan their journeys as high volumes of cruise passengers and football fans travel to the city.

Motorists are being warned of traffic queues in the city centre as two cruise ships arrive and depart today.

Queen Victoria and Ventura both arrived at 6.32am and are due to depart at 4.30pm and 5pm respectively.

Roads might be busy later this afternoon as Saints take on Ipswich Town at St Mary's. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
