Tragedy as woman, 37, collapses and dies while having her hair dyed

Tributes have been paid to a 37-year-old woman who tragically collapsed and died halfway through having her dyed.

Tanya Lloyd had been dyeing her hair before a planned visit to her sister Megitta Lloyd when she is believed to have suffered a massive heart attack.

She was discovered in her onesie by her partner, Kenny, on the floor at her home in Lincoln on December 21.

Tanya had surgery nine years ago to rectify a valve leak in her heart, which had been a success, according to her devastated sister.

Paying tribute to Tanya, Megitta said: “Tanya has been my rock and it was a great honour to be her sister.

“She was a bright and bubbly girl. The children really miss her too. She was an amazing person.”

Hairdressing student Megitta, who has two children, Gary, nine, and Elise, four, added: “Tanya helped me so much.

“She took the children to school and helped out as I study full time and also care for my mum.

“She’s always been happy to help and went out of her way to help people. We were very close.”

The family have now set up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds to pay for Tanya’s funeral.

Family donations has helped pay for the deposit but they still need just over £2,000 to pay for the funeral as well as a plot and a headstone.
