Tragedy as body found in search for missing man Nathan Dunn, 22

Police looking for a missing man have sadly found a body.

Cleveland Police issued an update on Friday night, November 1, stating that officers searching for missing 22-year-old Nathan Dunn, from Hartlepool, have sadly found a body. Formal identification has yet to take place, but his family has been informed and are being supported.

Police had issued an appeal to find Nathan earlier on Friday. He had last been seen around 4.20am in the West View Area of Hartlepool.

The full update from Cleveland Police, posted at 10.15pm Friday night, said: "Officers searching for a missing 22-year-old man, from Hartlepool, have sadly found a body. While formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of Nathan Dunn has been informed and are being supported by officers. Our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time."
